Samaun Turkey's Journey - The Inspiration Behind Global Scholar China

Samaun Turkey at the Nanjing University of Post and Telecommunications.

The Starting of The Journey

After graduating from college in 2022, Samaun Turkey decided to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration abroad from Bangladesh. For him, studying in China was the best option, offering both affordability and incredible business opportunities.

Like many students, Samaun Turkey initially asked for help from local agencies. However, over the next few months, he went through a lot of struggle, delays, high fees, and overwhelming requirements, just to get basic information about scholarships and admissions. The process was frustrating, and he realized that this route wasn’t going to work for him. So, he decided to take matters into his own hands.

Finding The Breakthrough

At the start of 2023, Samaun connected with his contacts in Nanjing who introduced him to scholarship programs at various universities in China. With this new information, he applied directly to these programs by following the application instructions. His hard work paid off and he was awarded a full scholarship at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications.

After securing his admission in the university through online systems from Bangladesh, he went through the VISA process entirely on his own. He faced some struggles with VISA processing but eventually, it was resolved. By September 2023, he was on his way to China, starting his exciting educational journey.

Developing the Vision

Once he started his educational journey in China, Samaun Turkey discovered that many universities offer full scholarships to international students, but there was a huge problem. Most students back home had no idea that these opportunities existed. Without proper guidance and information, many international students end up paying huge fees to agencies for what should be a straightforward process.

Realizing this, he decided that he would help international students directly from China to secure these scholarships, without the hassle and high costs associated with traditional agencies.

And that’s where Global Scholar China started. We’re a community created by students, for students, dedicated to making the journey to study in China straightforward, affordable, and hassle-free. Together, we’re here to help you achieve your dreams, just like our founder Samaun Turkey did.
